About us

HTF Associates was established in November 2004 by Richard Davey as a pharmaceutical consultancy specialising in the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Through associate colleagues the services available have expanded to include establishing storage and distribution networks, setting up effective demand planning processes across a company, integrating business processes within companies, obtaining a Wholesale Dealer's Licence (WL), and provision of Responsible Person (RP) services.

HTF Associates can offer a flexible range of styles to suit a client - from project management for individual projects to more continuous interim management. The emphasis is always on enabling the client to develop new skills quickly and become self-sufficient.
Richard Davey        
Before establishing HTF Associates Richard was at ALTANA Pharma in the UK (now Nycomed UK Limited) . As Supply Chain Manager he was responsible for establishing the supply and distribution processes for the company's products in the UK, and for obtaining a Wholesale Dealer's Licence. Richard also established a robust Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Process, creating strong links with manufacturing and corporate functions.
Prior to ALTANA Pharma he spent eight years with Eli Lilly in a variety of manufacturing and supply chain roles, spending time working in the US Headquarters as well as bulk manufacturing and packaging sites.

Previous experience includes roles at Boots Pharmaceuticals and Paterson Zochonis. He holds a Bsc degree in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University and a Diploma in Accounting and Finance, and is a member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
Michael Dolton        
Prior to joining HTF Associates in 2007 Michael spent 33 years at Eli Lilly in the UK. During this period Michael carried out roles in Planning, Purchasing, Process Improvement Projects and Third party Operations Management.

These covered several significant global drug products, and included managing complex supply chains with both in-house and third party manufacture. Michael is experienced in creating the link between the Sales & Marketing function and Manufacturing, including forecasting, safety stock policy and inventory management.
Michael has worked extensively with the Sales and Operations Process (S&OP) for many years and has 6 years experience working with the various SAP planning modules.
Anne Burt        
Anne has worked for HTF Associates since 2007 after spending over 25 years in Lloyds TSB in London and the West Midlands.

Using her extensive experience of management in both branch and business banking, Anne handles all aspects of HTF’s administration and supports HTF in delivering quality services to the wide client base, both in the UK and abroad.

Anne has a degree in Economics and Geography from the University of Exeter and qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Jackie Dolton        

Jackie joined HTF Associates in July 2008, prior to this working for 30 years in pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

She is highly skilled in all aspects of administration and supported UK and European operations in her previous training and development role. Currently, Jackie manages the Manufacturers' Discount Scheme for the UK affiliate of a multinational pharma company.

She is committed to striving for excellence in her support to HTF.

Stella Pinchbeck        

Before joining HTF Associates Stella was with Eli Lilly for 7 years and prior to that with Xyratex for 3 years. All of her roles have been in supply chain with the majority of her time being spent in planning and managing products through the supply chain.

She has extensive knowledge and experience of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management, Forecasting and Safety Stocks. This knowledge has been used both in-house and with Third Party Manufacture.


Prior to all of this, Stella obtained a Business Degree from the University of Glamorgan and also has qualifications in the Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).

Kelly Gomm        

Before joining HTF Associates Kelly worked in the Medical Department at Nycomed UK Limited. During this time Kelly became experienced in Clinical Trials, Medical Information, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance.

Latterly Kelly was the QA Officer specialising in Quality Management and Compliance. This included the local Quality Management System (QMS), the relationship with Corporate QA, internal audits and Regulatory Authority inspections.


As a Qualified Auditor Kelly has written and audited many Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as delivering training in relation to the QMS.

Kelly is a Deputy Drug Safety Officer, including adhering to and advising on statutory legislation, handling spontaneous ADR reports and case processing.




HTF Associates specialises in the Supply Chain operation in the Pharma Industry. This includes outsourced supply chain management, obtaining a Wholesaler Dealer's Licence (WL) from the MHRA, selecting
pre-wholesalers and advice on all aspects of Supply Chain Management in the pharmaceutical industry.
